At the start of the innings the Lightning set off positively to try and hit this target, but as wickets fell they couldn't keep up with the run rate. De Freitas topscored with 40 off only 29 balls, although no-one could stay with him and the Knights ended up winning by 31 runs. Matthew Foster ended up with 4 wickets for the Reds, as the Knights managed to derail the Lightning's unbeaten season at the last hurdle. Jake Egan has just been named the player of the match. The Knights pick up for points for the win, although it's not going to stop the Lightning celebrations as they are gathering together to pick up the IP20 trophy. I'm sure that the pictures willbe all over the Cricket Ireland socials soon. Well done to the Lightning, they have been worthy winners. Thanks for following along today, we will all be back tomorrow to settle the IP50 title. Until then, this is Justin saying goodbye from Oakhill
