6pm At the halfway stage it felt that the Warrriors total was a little underpar and that was provided right at the end of the day. Another excellent opening partnership from Carmichael and McCollum set the base. A little wobble in the middle order meant that the Warriors were sniffing an upset when the Knights fell to 222 for 6. Although Mayes came together with Neill to steady the innings with a few big hits around the ground. With Craig Young only being able to bowl two overs, Andy McBrine had to juggle his inexperienced bowling attack, and wasn't able to break that big seventh wicket partnership. Which means that the Knights pick up the first win of the IP50 season, get the four points for the win and it's been a great day out in the sun for them. Hard luck for the Warriors, also the season has only just begun and next Tuesday sees the next round of games. Hope that you can join me then. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from a sunny Stormont. Have a great night!
