4pm David Miller: "A really special feeling. I tried to watch the ball and back myself. Not really (wasn't watching the ball too well), I was scratchy to be honest in the beginning and towards the back end it turned out to be sweet. Anything over 200 is good, good wicket here in Potch. It's a day game so might spin a bit later."

That's right, he wasn't watching the ball too well when he came out. He was dropped on 0 off Rubel Hossain in the 11th over, so he scored a hundred in under 10 overs and needed only 35 balls for himself. He didn't middle too many balls, but once he started teeing off, that crowd in the cow corner stands had a lot of balls sailing towards them. He hadn't even reached 50 when the 18th over started. But once he came on strike for the 19th, he got going against Bangladesh's best pace bowler of the day - Saifuddin - and destroyed his figures from 3-0-22-2 to 4-0-53-2. That over saw five sixes in a row! Let me say it again, the fastest century in T20 internationals and it's also the joint third-fastest in T20s overall, with only Gayle and Symonds above him. Phew!

A lot of handshakes came for Miller while he walked back! That's a massive total of 224 to chase for the visitors to register their first win of the tour. Let's see how it unfolds...

19.6
2
Rubel Hossain to Behardien, 2 runs, digs this last ball out to cover and the bowler runs to his left to fetch the ball. Miller turns around quickly and they get two on the last ball
19.5
1
Rubel Hossain to Miller, 1 run, whips the ball to midwicket but doesn't get the middle of the bat

And that is the fastest century in T20 internationals! He breaks the record of fellow South African Richard Levi

19.4
2
Rubel Hossain to Miller, 2 runs, fullish outside off, he drives, he wants two and he gets two. What a century that is from David Miller when everyone was thinking Amla would get there!
19.3
2
Rubel Hossain to Miller, 2 runs, it's bowled on the legs, he flicks and gets two between deep midwicket and long on

On 96 now off just 33 balls

19.2
4
Rubel Hossain to Miller, FOUR, tries to smash this low and wide full toss, gets only a thick under edge and that beats the keeper on the off side for four more
19.1
4
Rubel Hossain to Miller, FOUR, oh, he loses his balance while trying to reach for the full ball outside off, gets enough bat and he's flat on the ground but gets four too!

Nobody would want to bowl that last over but it's Rubel

END OF OVER:
19 | 31 Runs | SA: 209/4 | RR: 11.00

  • David Miller88 (31b)
  • Farhaan Behardien4 (4b)

  • Taskin Ahmed3-0-41-0
18.6
1
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, 1 run, oh, Miller has driven that along the ground after going down on a knee. The disappointment shows on his face as soon as the ball goes off his bat. Saif bowled it full and wide and survived

Right, can we get all six? Where will he bowl?

18.5
6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, SIX, those two fielders can keep staring and track the trajectory of the ball sail over them! Five in five. It's short this time, Miller is in the crease and pulls it over the leg side

Shakib and Sabbir come and have a word or few with Saifuddin. There's a squarish fine leg and a deep backward square leg

18.4
6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, SIX, four out of four, what's happening here! SA are over 200 already! Another full delivery down leg, another way to get the legs out of the way and another flick that dispatches the ball over the long-leg boundary
18.3
6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, SIX, make that three in a row! It's on his legs as he shuffles across a bit, another full delivery and Miller simply times the flick well and that's gone behind square on leg for six more
18.2
6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, SIX, full and outside off, Miller picks the length early again, gets under it nicely and drives it inside-out over the covers, taking the fielder out of the equation for six more
18.1
6
Mohammad Saifuddin to Miller, SIX, he tries the slower one but it's pretty full and Miller picks it. He waits and then swings his arms to send that sailing over wide long on again. That's the first six off Saifuddin in this innings

END OF OVER:
18 | 15 Runs | SA: 178/4 | RR: 9.88

  • Farhaan Behardien4 (4b)
  • David Miller57 (25b)
  • Taskin Ahmed3-0-41-0
  • Mohammad Saifuddin3-0-22-2

Sanyat11: "With this kind off batting line up no wonder RSA will make big. But BD batters should make impact. For how long the team will depend on Tamim & Shakib?"

17.6
0
Taskin Ahmed to Behardien, no run, Tasking will be happy with the last ball. Full and wide outside off, Behardien reaches out for it but gets only an edge to the keeper. It bounced, obviously
17.5
1lb
Taskin Ahmed to Miller, 1 leg bye, much better from Taskin, a slower one on the legs. Miller tries to work it to leg but is deceived by pace, gets a leg bye. It wasn't far from the stumps though after deflecting off the pads
17.4
6
Taskin Ahmed to Miller, SIX, what a sound that was from the middle of the bat. Nobody move! Tries the block hole, Miller gets a freebie because it's a full toss around the off stump and he smashes it with such a sweet sound to the wide long on boundary!
17.3
4
Taskin Ahmed to Miller, FOUR, a bouncer to follow the slower one, Miller hooks and gets a top edge flying high and fine down the leg side to get to his half-century
17.3
1w
Taskin Ahmed to Miller, 1 wide, sends the slower ball at 116kmh down the leg side, bounces a couple of times before reaching the keeper

Shawn: "@MFD, I'm just gonna ask you to recall AB in the IPL when they need 20+ runs of the last over with Steyn bowling. AB wrecked havoc in that last over. It is a given fact that AB is the the most versatile player in the world. And what takes the cake, is that he plays 0 for records, just for the team. He happens to break records at the same time. "

17.2
1
Taskin Ahmed to Behardien, 1 run, in the block hole, Behardien manages to work it down to long on for one

rajat: "Grown up watching ABD making runs in every second game whether it's batting first or a tense chase. Anyone questioning his ability to score runs in tense situations should look at his average in run chases(which I don't have to look because I know it must be high)."

17.1
2
Taskin Ahmed to Behardien, 2 runs, pretty short and coming in, the batsman pulls it a bit awkwardly behind square on the leg side

Three overs to go. Here's Taskin, he has two left
