6.35pm A quick turnaround. Mark Wood to bowl. Finch and Warner.
6.20pm: Lummy, what a finish that was! England added 102 from the last ten overs, Buttler and Woakes batting together throughout as all of the hard work put in by Australia's attack in the first four-fifths of the innings was undermined... Buttler went to his fifty from 52 balls in the 41st over, and only needed another 31 to double up. We know he's capable of that sort of thing but, on a pitch where most batsmen had struggled to score freely, that was stupefyingly good batting. I said England would probably be aiming for 300, regardless of conditions, but for a long while it looked as if 260-70 would be a good score. How much will Buttler's assault deflate Australia? They need 303 to prevent England from going 3-0 up and taking the series... This could be a doozy. Nikhil will be back for the start of the chase shortly
Will Buttler get back on strike to try for his hundred...?
"Brilliant stuff - and 100 partnership!" cheers Chris in Taunton
Hang on, not sure who's on strike here... That delivery probably goes down as dead ball, although I think they ran
Last six, then. England are, incredibly, within range of 300

Here's JJ: "There's good news and bad news here for England. Finch is due a duck but Smith is due a hundred "
