4.56pm Griff of Marlow: "So, Stokes is on a hat-trick next innings?" Indeed he will be. But for now, it's over to Cook and Stoneman ...
4.55pm Hypocaust: "Stokes' 6 wickets at a cost of just 22 runs is the 'cheapest' 6+ wicket haul in Tests at Lord's. Previous best was Illingworth's 6-29 runs v India in 1967."
4.48pm What a spell from Ben Stokes. Career-best figures of 6 for 22 as he becomes one of those rare cricketers to etch his name on both the batting and bowling honours boards at Lord's.
Alex Chapman: "Is it safe to say that Headingley was just a flash in the pan? Or do the West Indies have another special performance in them yet?" I think it was probably both. There's no reason they can't produce another flash in the same rather singed pan sometime soon. But I doubt, on this evidence, that it will happen this week...
That sounds like a good question to tweet to #PoliteEnquiries (don't forget the hashtag). Mel and George are braced to field all your swinging queries
MikeB: "Marvellous commentator's curse on your colleagues there Miller old chap!" I do my best...

Worrying times for Jimmy's 500th. And thoughts with all my colleagues in the press box who are just hovering with their fingers over the send button on their 500-word Jimmy eulogy page leads

So Jimmy ... what have you got? You're running out of wickets!
Shreyanshu: "How can one compare 500 wickets to 500 run in a career?" Because they both involve the number 500? Honestly, some people...

Stokes to continue. He's bowling more overs in one spell that he has done all series!

Chris: "Has it been difficult to score today, or are the wickets keeping the scoring down? Can't help feeling that the low run rate (for modern times) isn't helping WI here - even a relatively steady 3 runs an over would have put them on 162/7 which would look a bit more healthy." Valid. Not a lot of running between the wickets
Tom: "Anderson on 499 wickets, Bishoo on 499 runs. Who will win the race to 500?" We are all on the edges of our seats
4.27pm Hello again. What do we have in store tonight then? If England get their way, James Anderson will soon claim his 500th Test wicket and they'll have a good 20 overs of innings-building before stumps. But West Indies had plenty to say about such presumptions at Headingley. Still time for a twist to today's innings?
Jamie Dow: "What's this I'm hearing about a Broad heel injury?" That's all we know so far. He's had problems with the fat pad in his left heel for a few years, and it seems to have flared up today. We'll bring you more when we hear it

That's tea after a fine session for England. They took five wickets, three of them for Stokes in a 13-over spell, while Roland-Jones did the other damage. Been tricky batting conditions, England build good pressure and there were a few loose shots. Can West Indies edge to 150+? Can Anderson bag No. 500?. We'll be back at 4.30pm to find out.
