4.00pm Who would've have thought at 72 for 8 that we'd see Zimbabwe batting for nearly 90 minutes into the final session? Going by what transpired, I can safely tell you Donald Tiripano will make many more runs in his Test career. Certainly looked extremely accomplished for a No. 10 batsman. Credit must also go to debutant Prince Masvaure for showing the kind of application he did. Played late, played straight for most parts. Exhibited tremendous technique and a solid temperament. But the moment belongs to Wagner, whose hostile spell has given New Zealand the edge. We should have 10 overs or so, barring bad light. Join us in a bit

Wagner to Chinouya, OUT, that's the end of that. Career-best for Neil Wagner. So there won't be a half-century for Tiripano. Coming back to the delivery, this one was angled in at length from wide of the crease, the ball reverses ever-so-slightly to beat Chinouya's outside edge as he's squared up and clip the top of middle stump. Wagner leads his team off the park, but you have to admit Zimbabwe have made New Zealand toil in the last two hours of proceedings.

Wagner to Chinouya, no run, not enough to get the batsman playing, too full and well outside off, around the fifth stump, watched through to the keeper

Wagner to Chinouya, no run, beaten by the late movement, once again it was a length ball that was angled in

Wagner to Chinouya, no run, beaten hands down. Too full, this one straightens after pitching, Chinouya was once again playing inside the line of that delivery

Southee to Tiripano, no run, punched to mid-off, will have to face a nervous wait to see if his partner survives another over or somehow turns the strike to give him shot at a Test fifty

Wagner to Tiripano, no run, banged in short, he looks to pull but the ball gets big on him, whizzes through to the keeper

Seems like a good atmosphere has built up at Queens. Zimbabwe fans have started their famous song 'One more, one more', Firdose tells me

Wagner to Tiripano, no run, gets forward and shows the full face of the bat as he defends

Wagner to Tiripano, FOUR, width and put away. Uppish but there's no one at gully, and it races away into the third man boundary. He ensured he threw his bat at that with full conviction

Wagner to Tiripano, no run, angled into middle from wide of the crease, eased back down the pitch

Wagner to Tiripano, no run, short ball on middle, he ducks under it

Wagner to Tiripano, 2 runs, is Tiripano giving himself the license to go for it now? Sees the width and throws his bat at that one, hits it inside-out over cover, scoots back for the second
