Shakeeb: "Here is trick and serious question folks. Ball hit the stumps and bails remained intact ultimately Wade benefited. However, had that ball hit the pads and there was DRS - he would have been given out coz ball was "hitting" the stump, what guarantee DRS provides that bails had fallen? Maybe player should be out when ball hits the stump." -- Haha, I'm wondering what happens if a batsman is plumb lbw and the umpire says "not out, the bails wouldn't have fallen."

5.10pm Matthew Wade has led Australia's recovery from 5 for 78 to 9 for 268. A stupendous fightback from Australia. Glenn Maxwell and the lower order did their part. Pakistan's bowlers were terrific right from the outset, but lost their composure and their heads during the final onslaught. 269 is going to be a hard chase for an inexperienced line-up. But they sure can. We'll be back soon.

Hasan Ali to Wade, 1 run, a leading edge to point and Wade gets hundred. Another slower ball on middle, Wade gets enough bat to get the run he required for his maiden ODI hundred. Screams in delight, the dressing room and the Gabba are all up. A fantastic knock this from Wade

Aashish Calla: "Wade's clearly done enough today to cement his place in the team for quite a few ODIs to come, unless his glove-work suddenly becomes too shoddy! To get your highest ODI score after walking in at 78 for 5 speaks volumes about his temperament."
