35.4 Beaumont bites the dust, and West Indies finally break this mammoth opening stand! Angled in on a length on middle and off. Comes in with the angle and Beaumont, haring down the track to smash it into next week, loses track of it completely. A rare fresh-air shot and she hears the death rattle soon after. She receives handshakes and salutations from those in the other camp, and those in England colours, along with the crowd, stand up to applaud what was another excellent tone-setting knock at the top of the order! 222/1
38.3 holes out to deep mid wicket, and Jones' party is over! This is another one of those drag-downs but because it is so short, it comes up to the batter with very little pace. Jones has to generate all the power and she is unable to get enough on it, especially hitting to the longer boundary. Gajnabi settles under it a few yards inside the fence and makes no mistake. Jones has to go, but not before a record-breaking afternoon on the personal front! 246/3
36.3 Matthews goes up in appeal, and the finger goes up too! Floated up full just outside leg. Lamb looks to access the region behind point via a reverse sweep. Seems to miss it with the ball popping up off some part of the body. The umpire thinks it is off the glove and Lamb does not bother with the review either. The replays initially seemed to suggest the ball came off the forearm but UltraEdge did return a nick off the toe-end, which explains why Lamb did not want to review it, and she departs for a three-ball two! 227/2
48.5 Fletcher appeals for an lbw, and the umpire raises her finger! NSB, though, wants to have another look! This is zipped in on a full length in and around off. NSB looks for the reverse-swat over backward point but for a change, seems to miss it. Looked pretty adjacent and this could spell trouble for the England captain, unless she has hit it. No bat involved. All eyes on Ball Tracking now...and it returns with Umpire's Call on the Impact and the Wickets parameter. Well well. The margins come to West Indies' aid on this occasion and NSB has to go! 331/5
42.4 oh, what have you done, Sophia Dunkley! Looped up full and wide. Dunkley knows there is space behind square and moves across her stumps to sweep it fine. Sweeps it too fine in the end, though, and helps it straight onto her stumps. Dunkley walks off dejected and disappointed. No big celebrations from West Indies, but they quietly keep chipping away! 274/4
49.2 gone! Capsey falls too, and Alleyne has her first wicket of the day! Seam-up, on a fullish length just outside off. Capsey backs away, trying to go inside-out over extra cover, but does not generate any power whatsoever. Chips it tamely towards extra cover, where Matthews gets her hands up high and completes a smart overhead grab! 334/6

14.1 Arlott nicks off Matthews! Big breakthrough for England, with the West Indies openers looking comfortable. Pitched up, wobble seam on a wide line, induced the drive and found the edge as the ball nipped away. Took a big chunk through to Jones, and England finally have something to cheer about after a tough start with the ball 91/1

27.5 cleans her up, and that is a big wicket! Slowed up deliciously and the ball drops on a length on middle and leg. By then, Joseph has decided to smash this ball into oblivion and nearly swings herself off her feet. Loses her shape completely and misses the line of the ball. Middle and leg stump rattled, and Joseph has to depart for 62! 139/3
22.5 rapped on the pads, and Linsey Smith has her first ODI wicket! Fizzed through on a length on middle and off. Spins in a touch and James, playing the trajectory rather than the length, gets caught on the crease. Plays all around it and gets smashed flush on the front pad. The finger goes up and James' troubled stay in the middle comes to an end! 124/2
28.2 hot knife through butter, and Campbelle has been done all ends up! This is speared in again and pitches on a full length just outside off. Campbelle plays for the ball to straighten a touch and leaves a gap between bat and pad. The ball bursts through, having come in with the arm, and rattles into the stumps. Campbelle holds her pose for a moment, trying to figure out what has exactly happened before soon making peace with the fact that she has been outdone completely. Two for Smith on debut, and England on a roll again! 139/4
35.1 top-edged to the keeper! Short length outside off and Gajnabi attempts to pull, sends the ball straight up. Jones trots over to her left to position herself under the ball, and Cross has her first of the day - and 99th in all ODIs 171/6
30.6 off stump skittled, and that will be that for Mangru today! Zipped into the blockhole on off. Mangru does not really read the length and tries to play it too square. She is late in getting her bat down too, and sees her stumps disturbed soon after. Smith has a smile on her face, and no prizes for guessing how her debut is going! 147/5
48.2 slower ball, taken at mid-off! Alleyne falls short of fifty, as England secure victory by 108 runs - putting them 1-0 up with two to play. Alleyne hung her head as soon as she made contact, sending the ball high into the air without any distance, well taken by Cross running back 237/10
38.4 slogged down the throat of midwicket! Claxton's merry biff comes to an end. Good connection but Smith had protection out there and it is safely pouched by Dunkley coming in off the rope. One debutant gets another, fourth wicket of the day for Smith 192/7
40.6 five-for on debut for Smith! Fraser's patience deserts here and she attempts to hoick the ball over cow corner, picks out Dunkley in the deep. Jubilant scenes among the fielding team, as Smith becomes only the second Englishwomen to take a five-wicket haul on ODI debut 202/8
43.3 dug in, swivel-pulled... straight to deep square leg! Fletcher's lively cameo comes to an end and Arlott has a second. Struck firmly but Dunkley was again waiting in the deep and offers a safe pair of hands 219/9
