Bumrah to Duckett, no run, round the wicket, pitched up in the channel. Duckett shuffles on to the front foot and blocks towards cover

Bumrah is pacing out his run from the Kirkstall Lane End. This in the one which may help the seamers. Three slips and a gully for Duckett

Right then. Here we go. Grey cloud cover above the ground. Just a smattering of supporters in the stands, but hopefully they will fill up as the day goes on. England's openers, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett, standing by the boundary ropes, while Jasprit Bumrah - India's "I'm him" - speaks in the India huddle. England need 350 more runs, India ten wickets; all results possible. Buckle up!

10.56am: Hello, folks. We are about to get underway on what should be a doozy of a final day at Headingley (weather permitting). The players are just waiting to take the field, but first there will be a moment's silence to mark the death of Dilip Doshi

10:51am: Vasim: "Are expecting an on-time start today?" Yep, in about ten minutes. The cloud cover remains but Alan Gardner will heat things up here.

Rajesh G: "Data is the new oil, they say. I could see its impact on Cricket while reading the article on KL Rahul's luck. Never before I could have imagined luck could be dissected and analyzed like this. Well written, and well analyzed, ESPNCricinfo team! "

Morne Morkel says he wants to take things hour by hour and not look too far ahead. His message to the bowlers is to forget about the scoreboard and bowl the best balls possible. Everyone's got their unique strengths and personalities and he enjoys getting the best out of them. Bumrah's experience takes some pressure off. India need to find a way to get Thakur into the Test, says they were trying to get the strike bowlers into the game the first innings. Says the bowlers gave away soft boundaries, which they need to avoid.

Roop: "Plz clarify my doubt, is Heavy roller used at morning??" Yep

Jaiswal's practicing some slip catches, Stuart Broad says the ball can come off the dark at times in Headingley which can cause issues. There will be scrutiny on India's fielding after the dropped chances in the first innings.

Pitch report from an hour ago: Mark Butcher says the quicks will charge in from the Kirkstall Lane end. There's a track outside off with plenty of cracks, it could lead to shooters. It's a new-ball pitch, balls misbehaved till the 50th over. Effects of the heavy roller nipped that late yesterday. From the Football Stand end, there'll be Jadeja to Duckett and Stokes with a big plate of rough. There are patches outside off for right handers too but they're a touch wide.

From Monga: Only getting brighter. Still only about a 100 people in in the stands. The cover is being removed. It's quite windy.

10:30am: The reason England are not chasing 50-100 more is in big part because they've blown away India's tail. Josh 'The Mop' Tongue has found his speed after missing a summer due to injury, Matt Roller writes about it here.

10:20am: Now for a bit of catch-up on analysis and performances. KL Rahul, one of the centurions, rode his luck yesterday. It's something that's deserted him leading to numbers that don't seem to do justice to his talent. Sid Monga investigates why that is with control percentages, drop counts and more.

Ben Hansford: "England to surprise us all and defy all conventional wisdom by digging in to be 114-2 off 90 overs at the close of play. Ben Duckett 36* off 234 balls with 192 leaves..." No way 85 overs will be bowled

robert: "4 an over for 90 overs if definitely doable but the slightest nick can put the kibosh on the whole thing. I'm looking forward to this."

For a visual at the ground and an update on the conditions, check out Matt Roller's Live Blog

10:10am: On paper, 350 to win in a day is a lot. But England have built a reputation of gunning down big scores. The weather and Bumrah will be a handful to deal with, then again, the rest of India's bowling hasn't been penetrative. There's also outward ambition from England.

Jatin : "Cloud cover prompts early finish of game.India will bowl aggressively full length, England will play Bazball.Either way by Tea."

KK: "Going through Rahul's interview, this could be cracker of a game, provided few things pan out - Weather, line & length bowling, and catching! "

Day 4 report: Pant, Rahul centuries set England 371 to win at Headingley

10am: Clouds have gathered an hour before the start of play but the ground is still dry. There was a drizzle a little while earlier butt the players are out practicing in the outfield. The cover is on the pitch. Stands are still empty, Sid Monga, at the ground, doesn't expect a big crowd as it's cold and it's a working day. That might change if the game goes deep.

8.48am Good morning and welcome back for a fascinating day five. Full build-up to begin in a bit. But first, an all-important weather update. It looks a bit damp in Leeds right now. But stand firm! Plenty can and will happen before the start time at 11am

Another absorbing day, both teams will have a proper go tomorrow. Meanwhile, check out the report and analysis on the site. Miller and I will be back tomorrow. Goodbye for now.

KL Rahul: Blockbuster finish waiting tomorrow. When the Test started, I felt it was a beautiful batting wicket and it would go towards a draw. But the wicket's played tricks, has had wear and tear. Cracks should open up tomorrow, Jadeja will have rough. There's been up-and-down movement, pace has gotten slower generally. A few balls have kicked up. (What's the chat with Pant when he plays outrageous shots?) Just stay silent. I've had a few partnerships with him, it's hard for us to understand his mindset but you've to let him be. You've to chat with him, keep him relaxed. Not a lot has changed for me recently, I'm just getting runs now. I used to not convert starts earlier, I'm just at a stage where a lot of things have changed. I'm a lot calmer and not chasing numbers. Lot of work put in behind the scenes, spent a lot of time with Abhishek Nayar. I was in a 'quality of quantity' mindset for a while. Of course, mid-30s average hurts me, but I don't want to look into numbers too much. Whenever I'm given the chance to play for my country, I want to do my best. Blessed with opportunities again and again. Someone's gonna win tomorrow, will be an interesting day. Wicket's not as easy as it was in the first innings. Them taking chances will keep us in the game. We'll try to put as much pressure as we can.

6:30pm, Day 4, Stumps: Gill was jogging across to the other end but Crawley walked right off. No threats so far this innings despite Bumrah bowling three. Duckett leaving three balls is the highlight. India were bowled out for 364 earlier. Pant and Rahul got centuries, they looked set to score more but their tail was blown away. The pitch has deteriorated, a few balls have spat up, others have gone low. There's sideways movement every now and again too. But in between, batters have been able to pile runs. A great contest set up for the final day.
