6pm That will be all from us for this game. But in about an hour and a bit, Pakistan and New Zealand will resume their rivalry, locking horns in the fourth of five T20Is from this very venue. Pakistan, remember, arrive having generated a head of steam in Auckland, although New Zealand are just a game away from winning the series. All the action from that game can be accessed here. Until next time, this is goodbye from Binoy and me, Shashwat. Take care, folks!
Beth Mooney, Player of the Match: Obviously nice to contribute and nice to hit a few out of the middle. I am getting on in age, so need to find different ways to get better. Have good people around me to help me do that. Bellsy (Sutherland) had an outstanding game too, wouldn't be unhappy if she was standing here (winning this award). (On her getting off to good starts) I just think, at the moment, making a conscious effort to hit the ball with more conviction early. Hopefully that keeps happening. Voll is absolutely flying at the other end, and when she does that, I don't want her to get too ahead of me (smiles). Been a lot of fun. (On if the competition in the side is pushing her to get better) Absolutely. We have a production line of young players come through. So, you can't take it too easy as a senior player - that has been the beauty of this culture and the domestic tournaments we have back home. Love to see the energy and the enthusiasm from the young players.
5:53pm New Zealand, the reigning world champions in this format, have been subjected to another battering and bruising defeat. Chasing 205 was never going to be easy, but they could only manage 122 on a fairly good batting track, which further illustrates the gulf in class and quality that has existed between these sides all series. Amelia Kerr was the only batter to cross 30, and that probably sums up the hosts' day with the bat.
Australia will be chuffed with how they bowled. Barring Garth, all of them hit the right lines and lengths, with Sutherland comfortably being the pick of the bunch. King, coming into the side to replace Gardner, bagged three as well, with Brown accounting for two batters in her final over. Another clinical display, and another box ticked, as far as winning a series in different parts of the world is concerned.
