That's a spectacular innings from India, who were 3 for 50 after seven overs, but just refused to slow down on what is the best batting track of the series. Jemimah Rodrgues was especially impressive, bringing up a second ODI hundred, making 123 offf 101 balls. Deepti Sharma also produced an outstanding innings, making 93 off 84. It was their 122-run fifth-wicket partnership that was the centrepiece of this India performance.

South Africa are now on the very brink of being eliminated. They need to pull off one of the greatest ODI chases ever in Sri Lanka, to even have a chance of making the final. This, remember, is a notoriously difficult venue for big chases, though most of those failed chases have been under lights.
