6:49pm That will be all from us for this game. We hope you enjoyed our coverage and we have a lot more cricket lined up for you in the next few days, and we would love your company for that too. Until next time, from Ranjith and myself (Shashwat), it is goodbye!

Evin Lewis, Player of the Match: It was unfortunate we did not play (the first two games). Felt pretty good (out there). Wanted to see what the wicket was doing and then step up a bit. (On what this innings means) Means a lot - I wanted to do well. Still grateful and thankful. Pretty easy to bat with him (Hope). He tries to get the game off to a good start, similar to me and I am grateful to bat with him.

Shai Hope, West Indies captain: It means a lot. Really trying to build a strong team. Just trying to continue that (of being placed high in the rankings), trying to be as consistent as possible and win as many games as possible. That was a tough series (against England) - nice to take something back to the Caribbean. If you get in, it is difficult to stop you, so whenever you get a start, try and capitalize and go as big as you can. He (Lewis) is a quality striker and when he is going, he is hard to stop. Hopefully he can continue that run-scoring and hopefully he can get a good start against Australia (when those matches arrive). (On how he intends to prepare for the Test series against Australia) Not quite sure - have not played in a little while. Want to wish Roston all the best (as captain).

Paul Stirling, Ireland captain: Couple of positives in there, tough day overall. Special mention to Humphreys - one of the best spells in context in T20 cricket for us. He bowled both ends, had the wind against him, had left-handers in - it was incredible. It was tough bowling from both ends for the other lads. The message was to give it everything we had. We did not have an opportunity to go outdoors (due to the weather). We gave it our best shot but we fell short in all three facets. We got domestic cricket here for the next four games and we will probably chat about that, on where we can improve and be in a better space (when we face England)

6:34pm A fairly one-sided contest in the end. Stirling threatened at the start but did not last long enough to give West Indies any real headaches. Ross Adair and Harry Tector played longer hands but with the required rate soaring, neither could muster the requisite number of big hits to put the visitors under any sort of sustained pressure.

Many more positives from a West Indian POV. Hosein was the pick of the bunch and picked up three wickets, while giving away only 27 runs in his four overs. Shepherd and Motie were not shabby either, with Holder also among the wickets. Joseph could not dent the Irish batting unit, but at times, showed the pace that makes him a dangerous weapon for WI across conditions. A fairly good day at the office, and they will be pleased to be heading home with a series win, having been blanked by England earlier in the month.

Joseph to L McCarthy, 1 run, that will be that! West Indies win this game comfortably and they take this series against Ireland 1-0! Full on leg stump. LIam backs away and drills it towards deep point. A routine single to end the game, and West Indies, having won by 62 runs, were full value for this victory!

Joseph to L McCarthy, no run, nearly! Zips in a yorker and this just shaves leg side. Liam, rather ambitiously, was shaping for an inside-out cover drive and unsurprisingly, failed to make contact

Joseph to L McCarthy, FOUR, edged and four! Shortish just outside leg. Liam backs away like he has done to almost every ball Joseph has bowled to him. Throws his hands at it and the ball flies away past the keeper!
