8:39pm Well, that innings had a bit of everything really. West Indies were superb with the new ball and got it to move, while also hitting the right lengths. Mandhana then came into her own through the middle overs, and was given a massive helping hand by the visitors, who dropped her not once, but thrice. Then, once she was dismissed, India hit a snag, with Deepti being run out for the ninth time in T20I cricket (the second-most among Indian women cricketers).
Thankfully for India, Ghosh, who was involved in Deepti's run-out, stood up and produced a cameo that took India closer to 160. She could not finish it off, and West Indies largely found their catching groove towards the end. Dottin was their standout bowler, with Henry, Fletcher and Matthews also picking up two apiece. This will not be an easy chase, of course, but the visitors will be fancying their chances. Join us in a bit for the second innings!
