8:03 pm The West Indies were in dire straits early in their innings, losing their top three batters within the first four overs. Arlott was the top bowler in the Powerplay, delivering an extraordinary spell with significant swing, claiming the crucial wicket of Hayley Matthews, followed by Zaida James and Stafanie Taylor. Campbelle and Gajnabi sought to gradually rebuild following the initial collapse. However, Charlie Dean delivered a double punch in the 14th over, removing Campbelle and Mangru with successive deliveries. Only two batters reached double digits: Gajnabi with 22 runs and Campbelle with 26, which explains the West Indies' batting performance. Bell and Arlott both took three wickets, while Charlie Dean claimed two. After a little break, we will get back to the run chase.

Charlie Dean: "Em Arlott is bowling four (overs) out. That doesn't happen often in T20s, but yeah, she bowled brilliantly well, and so did Belly (Bell) and Lynn (Linsey Smith). So we all chipped in there, and it's a good innings. When you get wickets early on, you really have to pounce. And really happy with the way we went about it today. Dunkley's catch was brilliant. We held on to all our catches, and that's what we want to do. We want to be the best team in the world. And I guess, being ruthless and winning these games in a good manner is how you want to go about it. I think being adaptable is something that you have to be in T20, things go your way or they don't. But actually, it was quite nice not to bowl in the Powerplay today. The girls did a brilliant job. But, ready whenever needed, but happy to be doing a bit of a stint in the middle overs. (Hat-trick chance) I was tempted to go for a really slow one, but I just thought, get on the stumps, do the basics well."
