4:18pm Another classy Australian batting display, led by Beth Mooney, who registered yet another fifty in this format. Voll was not shabby either while setting the tempo early, with Litchfield also scoring 32. Perry and Sutherland then played handy cameos towards the end, ensuring that Australia made it past the 200-run mark.

New Zealand were, well, sloppy for most parts. Their execution was quite off and their fielding did not set the world alight. Amelia Kerr was their brightest spark but every other bowler went at more than eight runs per over. They now have a mountain to climb and will have to shatter a few records if they are to keep this series alive. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Devine to Perry, FOUR, what a shot to end the innings! Slanted across the batter outside off on a length. Perry knows that line is coming and gets down low, reverse-lapping it past short third with excellent precision!

Around the wicket

Perry seemed to grimace, holding her ribs as soon as she played that stroke

Devine to Perry, FOUR, that is a gorgeous stroke! Length outside off. Perry backs away a touch, gets her hands through the ball and caresses it over extra cover!

Devine to Sutherland, 1 run, full toss on middle and leg. Sutherland moves to leg and swings it away towards deep mid wicket. Just a single. That was hit into the wind
