8.25pm Well, that is that from the Wankhede Stadium. The teams will move (not too far away) to the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai for the T20I series now. Australia completed the series sweep in as convincing a manner as you could ask for. India are left with a lot to ponder. Do join us soon for the T20Is. For now, it's Abhimanyu signing off on behalf of Srinidhi, Ranjith and Harshith.
8.15pm Time for the presentation ceremony.
Alyssa Healy: "We'll take that! Three T20s to go, but happy with the win. We want to continue to maintain our standards and that's exactly what we did. We weren't thrilled with our performance in the field in the last game so we wanted to do better today. [On Litchfield] At 20 years of age, what an unbelievable talent we've unearthed. To have two hundreds is an incredible achievement. She is also the self-proclaimed best fielder in the team and she proved that today. [On the team depth] Unbelievable blessed to have the amount of options we have. Sometimes it's a curse because you don't know who to throw the ball to but every time someone puts their hand up."
Phoebe Litchfield is the player of the match, and the player of the series. Here's what she has to say: "I think the first innings was a challenge and the second one was more of a challenge. This innings, went out there and got a bit lucky but yeah. I think it's assessing the conditions as early as possible. [On her catches] That's a pretty good feeling, when it sticks, it's great. I practice them in training. You just throw up your mitts, they sometimes stick, sometimes don't. Winning all three ODIs is a pretty good feat for the team, especially after losing the Test."
India captain, Harmanpreet Kaur: "I think this ODI series didn't go well. We tried our best, some of the performances were very good, but some of us need to think about what we need to do. Test cricket, when you are playing with the red ball we had time to think what we had to do. In white-ball cricket you have to be on your toes. We have to keep working hard. We have T20s in front of us now, so we will keep doing our best. [On newcomers] They have been great, especially Shreyanka. We need someone like her who keeps pushing harder. Others also have done well. [On taking lessons from Australia] We always talk about their fielding. Skill-wise, we are very close, but their fielding is something we have always appreciated and take from them. We want to do well in fielding because it is something that is bothering us now. It's something we need to do well in the next games."
Ashish: "Not sure when will Harman's form as a batter will be questioned. She has kept failing with the bat but I see no post or anything where her form has been questioned." It's true, Ashish. She has been quite out of sorts. Just two double-digit scores in her last seven ODIs is not exactly confidence-inspiring. And she has fared just slightly better in T20Is.
Stick with us for the presentation ceremony.
Alana King (not verbatim): "Absolutely stoked. We wanted to win the series 3-0 and that's what we did. [On the best catch] Phoebe's caught a few too many, so I'll give it to Tahlia. [On Litchfield-Healy partnership] They set the game up beautifully for us. They [India] bowled well in some good channels but they put on a big partnership. [On her partnerhsip with Wareham] Absolutely, the top order set it up beautifully and then Georgia and I could come in and play some big shots. We just showed that if you can get a big partnership, they can score really big. So we needed to keep getting wickets."
8pm A brilliant all-round performance sees Australia consign India to their third-biggest defeat in terms of runs. Litchfield and Healy's mammoth stand set up the win, with the former going on to score her second ODI century. Then, Australia never let India get comfortable in the chase. They bowled well and fielded even better and kept chipping away at the Indian batters. Alana King, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath and Beth Mooney all took brilliant catches. Georgia Wareham took three wickets, while King, Schutt and Sutherland struck twice each. There will be many questions left for India to answer, for whom the only positive might have been Shreyanka Patil's impressive show with the ball.
