Undefeated Nebraska (30-0) earned the No. 1 overall seed in the 2025 NCAA volleyball tournament bracket that was unveiled Sunday night.

The Huskers, under first-year head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, won the Big Ten regular-season title and lead the nation with a .350 hitting percentage behind setter and AVCA player of the year semifinalist Bergen Reilly. Nebraska opens the tournament Friday in Lincoln vs. Long Island University.

The tournament's other top seeds are No. 2 Kentucky (25-2), which won the SEC Tournament title, No. 3 Texas (23-3), the SEC Tournament runner-up, and co-ACC champion and No. 4 Pittsburgh (26-4), which is led by reigning AVCA player of the year Olivia Babcock.

Penn State (18-12), the defending national champion, received a No. 8 seed.

The 64-team field is made up of 31 automatic qualifiers and 33 at-large selections.

The tournament begins Thursday at 16 host sites and concludes with the final four at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. The championship game is scheduled for Dec. 21 and will air on ABC.
