The quartet of finalists for the 2020 Heisman Trophy all enjoyed remarkable college football seasons in light of the unique challenges of this past year, but in the end, only one player from among Alabama's DeVonta Smith and Mac Jones, Clemson's Trevor Lawrence and Florida's Kyle Trask could bring home the hardware.
In winning, Smith had wowed fans, voters, teammates and opponents with his 105 receptions, 1,641 yards and 20 touchdowns during the Crimson Tide's season. He was also the first wide receiver to win the award since Desmond Howard won the Heisman while playing for Michigan in 1991.
