Georgia tailback Nick Chubb made it on to the field against No. 11 Tennessee on Saturday after being a game-time decision due to a sprained left ankle.
Chubb carried the ball one time for three yards in the first quarter.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and ESPN had reported that Chubb would not play against the Volunteers, but Georgia coach Kirby Smart kept the possibility of Chubb playing alive in an interview Friday afternoon.
Chubb aggravated the injury to his ankle at Ole Miss last week and missed the second half. He had initially suffered the injury the previous week, a source told ESPN.
