Turner, Jacksonville run over NAIA-Ave Maria, 42-28
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Calvin Turner Jr. ran for 145 yards and two touchdowns and running back B.J. Riley fired a 69-yard touchdown bomb to Mitchell Bailey as Jacksonville cruised past Ave Maria, an in-state, private NAIA school, 42-28 in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon.

Jacksonville (2-2) ground out 335 rushing yards and attempted just four passes, completing three for 85 yards.
Tate finished 12 of 21 passing for 192 yards and the Gyrenes ran for 123.
