Uncommitted college football recruiting Hot Board

The second and final signing period for the 2019 recruiting class is coming up fast -- Feb. 6, to be exact. There are only 41 ESPN 300 prospects still unsigned, and only 14 of those are uncommitted.

That means it's going to be a mad dash for the signature of those remaining recruits who have yet to announce their decision publicly. Coaches will be after them down to the last minute, and with less than two weeks left, now is the time for making decisions.

Here is a look at the top uncommitted prospects on the board and where they will likely end up.

OT Darnell Wright
6-foot-6, 300 pounds
Huntington, West Virginia/Huntington
ESPN 300 rank: 5

Prediction: Tennessee
Others in the mix: West Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama

At the Under Armour All-America Game, Wright said people are assuming he will end up at Tennessee because he has been to campus so much, but he also said he hasn't yet made up his mind.

West Virginia and North Carolina, both with new head coaches, are coming after him hard, and Wright said he wanted to visit both schools in January before making a decision. Tennessee is still the pick for now, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the five-star offensive lineman stay home and pick West Virginia.

RB Jerrion Ealy
5-foot-9, 192-pounds
Jackson, Mississippi/Jackson Prep
ESPN 300 rank: 19

Prediction: Clemson
Others in the mix: Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Alabama

Ealy only recently decommitted from Ole Miss, but said the Rebels are still in the hunt. The No. 3 ranked running back in the class, Ealy said he decommitted because he wasn't sure Ole Miss was where he wanted to be. Leading up to signing day, he'll take visits to Clemson and Ole Miss. Mississippi State just lost running backs coach Charles Huff to Alabama, so that likely impacts his interest in the Bulldogs and perhaps helps Alabama. It seems Clemson has the edge, though.

Ealy is a unique prospect, because he is projected as a top-40 draft pick in the June major league baseball draft. He could decide to forego college altogether and opt to play pro baseball. He also has the option to play professional baseball and college football or play college baseball and college football.

He hasn't decided which route he will take as of yet as much of that will be determined where he goes in the draft and what a ball club is willing to offer him in terms of money.

DT Ishmael Sopsher
6-foot-4, 330 pounds
Amite, Louisiana/Amite
ESPN 300 rank: 39

Prediction: LSU
Others in the mix: Alabama, FSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M

Sopsher has maintained a top list of LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M, and said at the Under Armour All-America Game that he is still working from that top group.

Sopsher is still planning to take a few visits leading up to February, but there is some optimism around LSU that he will stay in-state and pick the Tigers. He is an intriguing prospect because, at his best, Sopsher is a menacing defensive tackle who can be a force to deal with.

He hasn't said much in terms of who sticks out above anyone else, but LSU is the pick for now.

DT Jaquaze Sorrells
6-foot-3, 286 pounds
Winter Park, Florida/Winter Park
ESPN 300 rank: 43

Prediction: South Carolina
Others in the mix: Penn State, Alabama

Sorrells has been very high on South Carolina for quite some time, but Penn State is making a push late in the process. His last official visit will be to Happy Valley, and that visit could swing things in the Nittany Lions' direction.

The Gamecocks will be tough to beat, though, as he has built a solid relationship with the coaching staff. Sorrells won't be making his decision until signing day, so there is still time for this to change.

LB Henry To'oto'o
6-foot-2, 225 pounds
Concord, California/De La Salle
ESPN 300 rank: 47

Prediction: Alabama
Others in the mix: Tennessee, Oregon, Washington, Cal

To'oto'o still has his top five of Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, Washington and Cal, and while Alabama is the prediction, this could change over the next few weeks. He visited Tennessee recently and is visiting Alabama next with a possible visit to Oregon after that. Tennessee has made a good push for To'oto'o, but the West Coast schools are going to make this interesting.

ATH Kaiir Elam
6-foot-1, 182 pounds
North Palm Beach, Florida/The Benjamin School
ESPN 300 rank: 59

Prediction: Georgia
Others in the mix: Florida, Miami, Colorado, Oregon

This pick would have been Florida a few weeks ago, but a coaching change could impact Elam's decision. Georgia recently hosted Elam on a visit and hired former Florida defensive backs coach Charlton Warren. That could play a big factor in Elam's recruitment and might push Georgia ahead when he announces his commitment.
