Best bets for Monday Night Football: Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles

The 7-3 Seattle Seahawks will play at the 3-6-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, in what's now the second-to-last game of Week 12 in the NFL.

ESPN betting experts Doug Kezirian, Joe Fortenbaugh and Anita Marks, and Football Outsiders' Aaron Schatz, have teamed up to offer their best bets.

Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill as of Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks (-6, 48.5) at Philadelphia Eagles

Seahawks -6

Kezirian: At some point, we just have to accept the Eagles are not a good team. They won the Super Bowl three years ago, but Carson Wentz was not the quarterback for the playoffs and offensive coordinator Frank Reich played a key role. Reich is now with the Colts, and the Eagles' offense has never looked the same. Wentz leads the NFL with 14 interceptions, and he's also 3-10 ATS this season, a league-worst record. Meanwhile Russell Wilson is reliable, and the Seahawks' offense is potent. The Seattle secondary has some issues, but I still feel comfortable laying these points on the road.

Fortenbaugh: The Seahawks have had 11 days to prepare for this Eastern time zone matchup, where Wilson & Co. are an astounding 10-1 straight-up and 8-2-1 against the spread in their past 11 trips to the opposite side of the country. Meanwhile, the Eagles are one of the most undisciplined teams in the league -- 30th in turnover differential, and having committed the 10th-most penalties in the NFL. I've got no problem laying the points in this spot.

Schatz: The Eagles are the lowest of the four NFC East teams in our DVOA ratings, 28th overall. A couple of reasons? They've played the 26th-ranked schedule so far, and they've recovered 70% of all fumbles, the highest rate in the league. It sounds strange to say that the Eagles have had any luck this year, but fumble recovery is mostly luck. Meanwhile, the Seahawks moved up to sixth in DVOA this week. Sure, they give up lots of receiving yards, but is that even a weakness the Eagles can take advantage of right now?

Marks: The addition of both Carlos Dunlap and Damon Harrison has helped Seattle's defensive line. They will be a force to be reckoned with against an Eagles offensive line ranked 32nd in sack rate. Wentz has 18 turnovers this season, and that number should increase on Monday night.

Chris Carson over 50.5 rushing yards

Marks: The Seahawks get Carson back this week, and with rain and wind in the forecast, both teams should rely heavily on their running games.
