Claressa Shields continues adding world titles to her already impressive list of accomplishments. On Sunday in Flint, Michigan, Shields dominated Danielle Perkins to become the first undisputed women's heavyweight champion in the four-belt era.
Shields (16-0, 3 KOs) sent Perkins to the canvas in Round 10 with a well-placed right hand to the chin, and while Perkins was able to get up just when the final bell sounded, Shields won by scorecards of 97-92, 99-90 and 100-89.
With the victory, Shields becomes the first fighter in the four-belt era (since 2007), man or woman, to be undisputed in three weight divisions.
Shield, who made her heavyweight debut in July with a second-round TKO of Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse, said she suffered a shoulder injury ahead of the Perkins fight, but she added that she wants to be active this year.
"I want to fight two more times this year. I want to fight against Franchon Crews [Dezurn]," Shield said during her postfght interview. I want to do a rematch with Hanna Gabriels. I love to bring Savannah Marshall to the USA. And it's always on the table if Cris Cyborg or Layla Ali wants to fight."

Fighters who haven't fought in 18 months and don't have a fight scheduled will be removed from the rankings until they fight again.
