How good of a passer is Draymond Green?
Sunday night provided a pretty good idea. The Golden State Warriors scored a season-high 136 points in their win over the Portland Trail Blazers (becoming the fourth team in NBA history to win at least 69 games) and the victory was largely powered by Green's passing.
The Warriors were 10-of-11 (91 percent) when shooting off a Green feed. Stephen Curry was 4-of-4, all on 3-pointers. Klay Thompson was 3-of-4, including 1-of-2 from 3-point range.
This was the third time this season that the Warriors shot 90 percent or better off Green passes. They also went 10-of-11 against the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 16 and 9-of-10 on Nov. 9 against the Detroit Pistons.
For the season, Green's teammates are shooting 58 percent off his passes, including 45 percent from 3-point range. Curry is at 60 percent and 51 percent from 3-point range. Thompson is at 53 percent, including 42 percent on 3-pointers.
Green now has 13 triple-doubles this season. Every one of them has come in a Warriors win. His 19 games with at least 10 assists are the most for a non-guard. LeBron James ranks second with 12.
