March 2 marks the 55th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain's record-setting 100-point game against the Knicks.

In the game, Chamberlain's Warriors defeated the Knicks, 169-147. It was the sixth-highest scoring game in NBA history.

Along with the 50.4 points per game he scored in 1961-62, Chamberlain averaged 25.7 rebounds per game. There has been one game of 50 points and 25 rebounds in the past 32 years -- Chris Webber in 2001.

There have been two 60-point games since the last anniversary of Chamberlain’s 100-point game -- one by Kobe Bryant in the final game of his career, and one by Klay Thompson earlier in the 2016-17 season.

Prior to that, Chamberlain had as many 60-point games as the rest of the NBA combined.
