Scout's Take: OG Harry Miller to Ohio State

Ohio State added another key piece to its 2019 class on Sunday in Under Armour All-American OG Harry Miller. Below, find out why he is likely to make an early impact for the Buckeyes:

What he brings: Miller is one of the top offensive line prospects in this class, regardless of positional designation. Listed as the No. 1-ranked guard, he is a player with experience at each position on the O-line. He's a big body with a very good blend of height and bulk, but beyond size he also displays good lower-body flexibility. Big and strong, Miller can be a physical run blocker. He capable of gaining physical leverage, unlocking his hips and pushing defenders off the ball. He also displays a physical nature and some tenacity in his play. The four-star also moves well for his size and can be effective blocking on the move when asked to pull and work to second level. With good balance and feet, Miller can also be effective in pass protection. Bottom line: Miller is just a real good football player.

How he fits: This is a talented addition to the Buckeyes' offensive line unit. Listed as an OG, Miller has the tools to not only be a highly productive starter at that position for multiple seasons, but we feel he has the size and ability to come in and compete for playing time as a freshman. In addition to potentially being an excellent guard, Miller can bring a lot of value to that unit because of his versatility. He has worked at not only guard, but tackle and center as well in games, and could contribute to the Buckeyes' OL at any of those spots. While we feel his most ideal fit could be at guard, his ability to play multiple positions well can allow Ohio State to put him where most needed or move him at some point during the course of his time in Columbus.

Reminds us of: Miller, while arguably more powerful at the same stage, reminds us some of recently departed Auburn OL Austin Golson because he shares a similar ability to bring value to an O-line unit. Golson became a key member of the Tigers' unit because of his toughness and ability to play any spot, and we feel Miller can become a key member of the Buckeyes' O-line in much the same way.

How the class is shaping up: The Buckeyes have been a top-five mainstay in the class rankings for the most part of Urban Meyer's tenure, and they are once again showing they will be in that hunt again. This latest addition now gives them eight ESPN 300 commits, with two ranked among the top 20 overall. WR Garrett Wilson, the No. 2 ranked WR, is No. 13 overall in the ESPN 300. Among the other commits are Doug Nester and in-state Ryan Jacoby, who are both top-25 tackle prospects. Ronnie Hickman is a four-star pickup out of New Jersey, and the Buckeyes also have a pair of ESPN 300 running backs committed in Sampson James and Steele Chambers, who could end up at outside linebacker long term.
