          Tom Brady didn't know what Richard Sherman was saying after 2012 game

          FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI on Monday morning, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady revisited what unfolded with Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman after the last meeting between the teams in 2012.

          Sherman's "U Mad Bro?" tweet to Brady was a big story line after that game, as Sherman was previously barking at Brady while walking off the field.

          "Truthfully, at that time, I thought he was just coming up to say 'good game.' That's all I thought it was," Brady told WEEI on Monday. "It was loud after that game, so I didn't really hear anything. Then I went into the locker room after the game and ... he said he was talking trash to me. That was all a bit of a surprise to me."

          A few other soundbites from Brady's interview on the "Dennis and Callahan Show."

          Environment at Gillette Stadium. "When they get rockin' and the horn gets blowing, it was so loud yesterday. That was probably the loudest I've ever heard our stadium. It was just awesome, a great home experience. We've always had a great home-field advantage. It made it pretty special to win it in front of our home crowd too."

          Super Bowl tickets. "It's a great thing to be dealing with. A lot of people obviously want to come and we're only allotted a certain amount of tickets. I try to get as many as I can from as many avenues as I can. There's hotel rooms and all that, and so forth, so there's a lot that goes a long with it. I'm going to try to get it knocked out of the way as quickly as possible, so that it can be all football when next week starts.There will be quite a few [tickets], as usual. It's a great pleasure for me to have everybody come and support me. I've had so much support over the years. It's hard for us athletes, without the support of our family and friends, to go out there and play for as long as we've played. It takes a lot of people to help us get there and it's great for them to be able to come experience something special like this."

          LeGarrette Blount's decision-making. "He did a lot of that last year for us too [but] he hasn't had as much opportunity this year. Yesterday was just a helluva game. He made great decisions running it, and when to blow it up in the hole and when to cut back against the grain and try to make yards that way. All night, he was making those type of choices. It was great to see."
