LONDON, Oct 23 - Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez
hopes Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid will not
prove costly to his side's title ambitions.
Robbie Keane, who scored Liverpool's goal to keep his
side's Champions League hopes on track, was substituted near
the end and is a doubt for Sunday's clash with Chelsea at
Stamford Bridge because of a groin strain.
"It was a little bit of a muscle problem for Robbie,"
Benitez said on Liverpool's website (www.liverpoolfc.tv).
"We need to check with Keane, he will see the doctor."
Chelsea and Liverpool have set the pace so far in the
Premier League and only goal difference divides them at the top
where they both have 20 points from eight matches.
Liverpool, who have not won a league match at Chelsea for
nearly five years, are already without Fernando Torres and as
well as Keane, they have concerns over Steven Gerrard and Xabi
Alonso, who were also substituted in Madrid.
"The three players had some problems, I don't think they
are too serious," Benitez said.
