CALGARY, Alberta -- Martin Havlat scored at 3:15 of overtime to give the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Friday night.
Havlat took a cross-ice pass from defenseman Marek Zidlicky and fired a shot behind Miikka Kiprusoff, who had no chance on the play.
James Sheppard also scored for Minnesota. The Wild have won two in a row and seven of their past eight games to improve to 15-13-3.
Aaron Johnson scored for Calgary.
