Yankees-White Sox game postponed

CHICAGO (AP) -- The game between New York Yankees and Chicago White on Tuesday night was postponed by rain and will be made up Wednesday as part of a day-night doubleheader.

The game was called about an hour and 40 minutes after it was supposed to start Tuesday night. The field was still covered by the tarp as a steady rain fell, but scheduled Yankees starter Mike Mussina had gone out in the conditions to play catch in the outfield.

Wednesday's first game will begin at 1:05 CDT. The second game is scheduled to start at 7:11.
