FORT WORTH -- TCU coach Gary Patterson preached that his team isn't worried about the BCS standings right now. He's said all season that his team isn't paying attention to rankings, and he isn't changing his approach heading into the Horned Frogs' matchup at No. 16 BYU on Saturday.
"We'll have that conversation after Saturday's game," Patterson said Tuesday. "If we don't win, there aren't any conversations."
Quarterback Andy Dalton said he saw the BCS standings and was pleased with the recognition. But he's already moved on.
"It's just October," Dalton said. "We'll see where it is at the end of the season. We're worried about winning the conference."
