Mike Spinner is a BMX rideryou may have heard of him, perhaps if you're reading the X Games BMX Blog. Like Will Ferrell in Anchorman, he's kind of a big deal. He rides for another guy who's kind of a big deal: Dave Mirra. The man has 21 medals from X Games, 14 of them gold. Mirra's bike brand MirraCo sponsors Mike Spinner, and today the kid came out to watch his sugar daddy race those crazy-loud rally cars.
"Dave's been so stoked on this for six months," says Spinner. "I know his goal this year is just to be here, so he's psyched right now. I know everyone is so good, there's twelve guys here and they're the best guys in the US. It's awesome for me to watch. I never seen it this up close and personal. I know Travis a little and Dave real well, so it's just real cool to watch him shred and almost hit barriers."
