STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- Phill Drobnick and Wally Henry will coach the U.S. curling teams at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
USA Curling announced the selections Monday. The U.S. Olympic Committee's board of directors must approve the nominations.
Henry, of Beaver Dam, Wis., will coach the women. The squad is led by his daughter, Debbie McCormick. He was an assistant coach at the 2002 Olympics and was the USA Curling coach of the year in 2007.
Drobnick, of Duluth, Minn., will coach the men. He was the USA Curling coach of the year in 2008 after guiding his team to a gold medal at the World Junior Championships. The U.S. men's squad is led by John Shuster.
Chris Plys of Duluth has been added as an alternate for the men's team.
