No. 11 Florida 92, Alabama 71

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Sha Brooks scored 29 points to lead No. 11 Florida to a 92-71 win over Alabama on Thursday night, sending the Crimson Tide to its 22nd straight conference loss.

Brooks made 11 of 20 field goal attempts and was six of nine on 3-pointers. Steffi Sorensen added 15 points for the Gators (21-2, 7-1 Southeastern), who won their sixth straight.

Varisia Raffington scored 18 points for Alabama (12-11, 0-8) and Tierney Jenkins had 16.

With Alabama ahead 30-26 at the 7:48 mark, Florida went on a 22-5 run to take a 48-35 lead at the half.

Alabama scored the first seven points of the second half to cut the lead to 48-42, but the Gators outscored the Crimson Tide 41-19 to bolt to a 89-61 lead with 5:23 to go.
