Cricket-New Zealand win toss and bat first against India

WELLINGTON, March 11 - New Zealand won the toss
and elected to bat first in their fourth one-day international
against India at Hamilton on Wednesday.

New Zealand made three changes to the side that lost in
Christchurch on Sunday with captain Daniel Vettori returning to
the side after the birth of his first child.

Left arm seamer Ewen Thompson was picked to make his debut
while Ian O'Brien was also recalled, with Tim Southee and
Jeetan Patel and the injured Ian Butler all dropping out.

India also made two changes with Rohit Sharma and Ishant
Sharma coming in for Munaf Patel and the injured Sachin
Tendulkar.

New Zealand need to win the match to keep the series alive
after India won the first and third matches and the second was
washed out.
