Have you ever noticed that it's nearly impossible to keep track of lip balm? Every time my lips get chapped, I search my house for the chapstick that I bought the last time that my lips got chapped. I eventually give up, forget about the twice-used chapstick sitting somewhere in my house, and buy another chapstick.
This has happened so frequently as to become a chicken-and-the-egg sort of thing. What did John do first: Put his new chapstick in a safe place, sure that he'd remember its location in the future; or head to the store in frustration to buy a new chapstick?
Nobody knows.
I hate that.
