Match Commentary

81'+157-22 End of second half
80'
80'That's fulltime in what has been great Test. The Pumas were in the contest for 50 minutes, but the class and depth of the All Blacks shone through yet again in the end.
77'57-22 Try - Luke Romano , New Zealand
76'Replacement Luke Romano is over for the All Blacks after Israel Dagg somehow managed to keep the ball alive following a cross-field kick. The Pumas are limping to fulltime here.
71'Only a brilliant covering tackle from the Pumas denies Julian Savea another try after the winger gathered a great kick from TJ Perenara down the blindside. The Pumas can't land the lineout however, and the All Blacks will attack from a five-metre scrum.
69'Substitute on - Anton Lienert-Brown , New Zealand
69'Player substituted - Ryan Crotty , New Zealand
69'52-22 Conversion - Aaron Cruden , New Zealand
68'After the Pumas go to the high ball, a quick shift sees Smith cut downfield, then turn the Pumas' cover defenders inside out before planting the ball down with an outstretched hand. A brilliant run from the fullback.
67'Try time All Blacks. The world champions are in again, with Ben Smith picking up his second.

65'45-22 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
64'43-22 Try - Ryan Crotty , New Zealand
63'Try time All Blacks. Ryan Crotty is over for his second, the inside centre hitting a flat pass from TJ Perenara to cross next to the right upright. A great scrum for the All Blacks gave Perenara beautiful ball from which to play.
63'Substitute on - Lucas Noguera Paz , Argentina
63'Player substituted - Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro , Argentina
63'Player substituted - Agustin Creevy , Argentina
63'Substitute on - Julian Montoya , Argentina
61'New Zealand will attack from a five-metre lineout again after going close to scoring. Joubert found a penalty however and the Pumas will be doing well to survive again.
61'Player substituted - Martin Landajo , Argentina
61'Substitute on - Tomas Cubelli , Argentina
59'Penalty New Zealand. A superb take from the high ball from Ben Smith quickly turns defence into attack for the All Blacks, before they eventually win a penalty for offside from a tiring Pumas pack. This scoreline could blowout.
58'38-22 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
57'
57'Charlie Faumuina is the one with his name on the scoresheet, but the hard work was done by the likes of Julian Savea, ben Smith and Beauden Barrett once again. Savea's power, in particular, has been huge for the hosts tonight.
57'36-22 Try - Charlie Faumuina , New Zealand
56'Try time All Blacks! The world champions have fired into action, following a brilliant sequence of phases from the restart.
55'31-22 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
54'The All Blacks playmaker must be the best player on the planet at the minute. First Barrett makes the break that opens up the Pumas' defence, and then he makes another half-break before offloading for Ryan Crotty to score. Marvellous stuff and the All Blacks have some breathing space again.
54'29-22 Try - Ryan Crotty , New Zealand
53'Beauden Barrett brilliance and the All Blacks are in!
53'Substitute on - Wyatt Crockett , New Zealand
53'Player substituted - Joe Moody , New Zealand
53'Player substituted - Dane Coles , New Zealand
53'Substitute on - Codie Taylor , New Zealand
52'Penalty New Zealand. The All Blacks' breakdown work continues to stifle the Pumas, this time Israel Dagg winning the decision with a strong position over the ball.
50'The Pumas are really bossing this game at the minute, even drawing a hand from the clearing kick to win the lineout call downfield.
50'24-22 Penalty goal - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
49'Player substituted - Owen Franks , New Zealand
49'Substitute on - Charlie Faumuina , New Zealand
49'Player substituted - Aaron Smith , New Zealand
49'Substitute on - TJ Perenara , New Zealand
48'Penalty Argentina. Nicolas Sanchez will line up three points from right in front after some more strong Pumas play. Ardie Savea the one penalised for no clear release.
47'The Pumas continue to attack the All Blacks' line with vigour with Matias Moroni making a wonderfully determined run through the heart of the New Zealand defence. Again. the All Blacks scramble well with a timely counter-ruck first winning the turnover and then the penalty.
46'Substitute on - Ardie Savea , New Zealand
46'Player substituted - Sam Cane , New Zealand
45'Another patient buildup from the Pumas is eventually broken down by Kieran Read who makes a key intercept when a final pass back inside would have brought a Pumas try. A great clearing kick from Israel Dagg relieves the pressure.
43'Patient buildup from the Pumas comes to an end as Sam Cane gets over the ball and wins the penalty. The Pumas forwards worked the ball nicely in tight but the moment they went wide the backs were isolated.
41'We're back underway in Hamilton and immediately the Pumas clear their own half from the kickoff, before Beauden Barrett spills an offload from Israel Dagg. Pumas scrum.
41'Substitute on - Leonardo Senatore , Argentina
41'Player substituted - Guido Petti , Argentina
41'+124-19 End of first half
40'
40'
40'The All Blacks have scored three tries to one, but the Pumas have asked plenty of questions of the world champions and are deservedly right in the contest. The All Blacks have given away a few penalties, and Joubert may lose patience if that continues after the break. Savea, Ben Smith and Barrett with the tries for the All Blacks while Santiago Cordero grabbed the opener for the visitors after just three minutes.
40'Sanchez can't maintain his perfect record as his kick drifts wide. Still, what a gripping half of Test match rugby.
40'24-19 Start of second half
39'Penalty Argentina. A high tackle from Joe Moody gives Sanchez the chance to close the gap at halftime with the siren already sounded.
39'24-19 Penalty goal - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
38'Penalty Pumas. The Argentines have drawn the favour of Joubert yet again with Sam Cane penalised at the ruck. Sanchez nails the kick to reduce the gap to just five points just before half-time.
37'Beauden Barrett may not be kicking goals well tonight, but he is always a threat in attack with his speed. A lovely little kick in behind the Pumas' defence from Ben Smith sat up beautifully for Barrett, who then skipped by the fullback to cross under the posts.
37'24-16 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
37'Substitute on - Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias , Argentina
37'Player substituted - Juan Martin Hernandez , Argentina
36'Try time All Blacks!
36'22-16 Try - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
34'A raking kicking from Beauden Barrett eventually brings an end to another gruelling sequence of play with the Pumas again asking questions of the All Blacks.
32'And the three points comes from the unlikely source of Israel Dagg! With Barrett off target, Dagg steps up and nails one from long range!
32'17-16 Penalty goal - Israel Dagg , New Zealand
31'Penalty New Zealand. The All Blacks quickly turn the table with Sam Cane getting himself over the ball and winning his side the ruling. 31 minutes gone in Hamilton in what has been a thrilling half hour of footy.
29'Penalty Argentina. The Pumas are able to clear as Craig Joubert finds an All Blacks infringement at the scrum.
28'A promising attacking raid from the All Blacks comes to an end as Aaron Smith throws a forward pass following a little dart around the fringes. Ben Smith looking threatening again.
27'14-16 Penalty goal - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
26'Penalty Argentina. After taking the quick tap from a previous infringement, the Pumas rip straight back into the All Blacks. It draws a penalty from Beauden Barrett, which Nicolas Sanchez nails to regain the lead.
25'Ben Smith crosses for the All Blacks' second try which began with a counter-attack from inside their own half. Again, it was Julian Savea who did the damage, the winger making an incisive run that put the Pumas on the back foot. A quick shift then opened up the space for Smith out wide.
25'14-13 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
24'12-13 Try - Ben Smith , New Zealand
23'Try time All Blacks!
21'Barrett can't land the penalty though, that's his second miss of the night.
20'Penalty All Blacks. A Pumas turnover hands the ball over to New Zealand before Argentina skipper Agustin Creevy is penalised for playing the ball off his feet.
19'A spilled pass from one of the props saw ref Craig Joubert come back for the penalty, which Nicolas Sanchez slotted easily from right in front.
19'7-13 Penalty goal - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
18'A pulsating sequence of play finally comes to an end with a penalty to the Pumas. First it was Argentina with the break and then Julian Savea ripped through the middle of the field on the counter. A turnover then gave the Pumas the ball back with the backs and forward combining wonderfully together.
15'The All Blacks spill the restart after the kick from Barrett only just goes 10 metres. Just a few handling errors from the world champions early on.
15'7-10 Penalty goal - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
14'Nicolas Sanchez splits the uprights with a wonderful kick from out wide and the Pumas are back in front 10-7.
13'Some more strong, patient buildup from the Pumas finally brings a penalty for playing the halfback. The Argentine forwards already look far more up for the fight than what the Wallabies did a fortnight ago.
12'7-7 Conversion - Beauden Barrett , New Zealand
11'Julian Savea strolls in under the posts with an 8-9 move freeing up the space for Savea to take the final pass from Aaron Smith. A simple, but extremely effective play. Barrett nails the conversion and were all tied up at 7-7.
11'5-7 Try - Julian Savea , New Zealand
9'Try time All Blacks!
9'The All Blacks have opted for a scrum from the penalty, with both the blindside and openside on offer for attack. This will be a big test of the Pumas' set-piece.
8'No good! Barrett hits the post before the Pumas' restart is charged down by Dane Coles. The All Blacks then win a penalty just five metres out.
7'All Blacks can't break down the Pumas' defence with their first real attacking opportunity. A lot of lateral play with no real forward momentum. They do win a penalty however, and Beauden Barrett will line up the shot from wide out.
4'The Pumas again threaten from the restart with Landjo putting his nose through a half gap. His pass hits the deck however, giving the All Blacks a scrum about 43 metres out.
3'Try time Pumas! Santiago Cordero is in for Argentina after a steady midfield buildup. A great inside pass from Nicolas Sanchez catches the All Blacks out with an inside pass before a quick recycle finds Martin Landajo who draws the fullback to put Cordeo over. What a start from the Pumas!
3'0-7 Conversion - Nicolas Sanchez , Argentina
3'0-5 Try - Santiago Cordero , Argentina
1'And we're underway in Hamilton with Kieran Read claiming the kickoff before Aaron Smith clears. The kick is claimed by the Pumas before Brodie Retallick gets caught on the wrong side of the ruck and gives away a penalty.
1'That's the formalities out of the way - here we go!
1'Anthems done. Haka time!
1'
1'Both teams are now out on the paddock at FMG Stadium. Time for the anthems in what is a packed house at FMG Stadium.
1'Players from both sides just going through their final preparations in the sheds. They'll be out on the park in five minutes for the anthems and then .... the haka!
1'Just 20 minutes away from kick-off now in what looks like a beautiful night in Hamilton.
1'Crowd slowly starting to filter into FMG Stadium by the looks of things. Still 40 minutes out from kick-off.
1'There's always plenty of colour when the Pumas come to town!
1'Good afternoon everyone. Sam Bruce in the chair for what should be a great Test between the All Blacks and Pumas in Hamilton. If their most recent encounter -- a pool encounter at RWC 2015 -- is anything to go by, we could be in for a ripper. The All Blacks will certainly start heavy favourites, but the Pumas are improving with every season they have in the Rugby Championship. We're a little over an hour out from kick-off so sit tight and enjoy the build-up.
1'0-0 Start of first half
