ARLINGTON, Texas -- When Dak Prescott's teammates saw their quarterback become the Dallas Cowboys' all-time leader in passing yards on the overhead digital board inside AT&T Stadium on Sunday, a number of them offered up congratulations. At the time of his 9-yard completion to George Pickens in the third quarter that allowed him to surpass Tony Romo, the Cowboys trailed the Eagles 21-7. "And I'm like, 'No, no, no. Whatever. We'll celebrate this when we win. I don't want to hear anything about that right now,'" Prescott said. "So I mean now, I can enjoy that a little bit, reflect. I'm sure to smile, laugh." The Cowboys ended up beating the Eagles 24-21 with Prescott directing a final-minute drive that ended in Brandon Aubrey's game-winning 42-yard field goal as time expired. Prescott finished with 354 yards on 23-of-36 passing and two touchdown passes. He also ran for a touchdown as the Cowboys tied the largest comeback (21 points) in team history. "I know he won't say it, but that's a pretty cool record that he broke," coach Brian Schottenheimer said. "And to do it in a game like this where we beat a really good football team the way we did, I'm sure it makes it even sweeter." Prescott needed 160 yards against the Eagles to pass Romo, who had 34,183, which mostly came in his 128 career starts. Prescott, who now has 34,378 passing yards, made the 132nd start of his career Sunday. He entered the second half 1 yard shy of Romo's mark with his 1-yard touchdown pass to Pickens with 21 seconds left in the first half. This season, Prescott became the franchise leader in completions (he now has 3,056). He is second in attempts to Troy Aikman (4,715) and second to Romo (247) in touchdown passes. Last week against the Las Vegas Raiders, he became the third Cowboys quarterback to record at least 80 wins. Aikman is the leader with 94, with Hall of Famer Roger Staubach second with 85. He also broke a tie with Romo for the most wins when tied or trailing in the fourth quarter or overtime. Sunday was his 25th. "I mean, it's a special game and it's a game that I definitely won't forget," Prescott said. "I'm not a guy [who is] even thinking about records or taking memorabilia or things like that. After this game, one of the [athletic] trainers asked me, 'What do you want to do with the jersey?' I said, 'Yeah, I'm going to keep that one.' I know it's a game that I won't forget. It's a game that hopefully I can look back and say, 'This was the moment, this was the time, this game [that] meant everything to that season.' Right now, I'm just staying where my feet are. Super, super thankful for this team, for the men, for the opportunity honestly."
