In early November 2025, Jacksonville Jaguars place kicker Cam Little completed a 68-yard field goal versus the Las Vegas Raiders. With the feat, Little claimed the longest field goal in NFL history. His 68-yarder was only the 15th attempt of at least 68 yards since 1960. 

Later in November 2025, Cincinnati Bengals place kicker Evan McPherson completed a 63-yard field goal versus the New England Patriots. With the milestone, McPherson claimed the longest field goal in Bengals' franchise history.
