JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars were already down a running back before their game against the Tennessee Titans began on Sunday afternoon and now they're down to their fourth and fifth backs.
T.J. Yeldon suffered an ankle injury on his second carry of the game and did not return. Chris Ivory injured his hamstring in the third quarter and is questionable to return. With Denard Robinson inactive because of an ankle injury, the Jaguars' only healthy running back who has touched a football is second-year player Corey Grant.
Grant, whom the Jaguars signed as an undrafted free agent from Auburn after the 2015 draft, has just 11 carries for 17 yards in two seasons. He had a career-high four carries for 13 yards against Minnesota on Dec. 11.
The Jaguars' only other active running back is Bronson Hill, a first-year player who has spent time on the practice squad with Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, Cincinnati and Jacksonville.
