LaMelo Ball opted for a special ride to the Spectrum Center before facing the Detroit Pistons on Thursday -- "The Mystery Machine" from "Scooby-Doo." The Charlotte Hornets star pulled up to the venue in a Hummer reminiscent of what Shaggy would drive around in Crystal Cove. It included all the familiar details made famous by the popular cartoon series. Ball posed in front of the vehicle with an upcoming Mystery Machine-themed colorway of his signature Puma shoe. A vehicle for Mystery Inc., the Mystery Machine van served as the go-to for the crew's transportation. Ball is in the midst of a career year. Heading into Thursday, he's averaging 28.4 points, 6.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.
