Roger Federer
In his first year of eligibility, Roger Federer is a new selection to the International Tennis Hall of Fame & will be inducted in August, the ITHF announced Wed. The first man to win 20 major titles, Federer, now 44, was world No. 1 for a record 237 straight weeks & 310 overall and is one of eight men to achieve the career singles Grand Slam. Mary Carillo, the longtime broadcaster & first woman commentator to regularly appear on tennis telecasts, is to be inducted in the contributor category.
