Scottie Scheffler finished 17-under to win the 153rd Open Championship, his first Open title, second major of the year, and fourth major overall. Scheffler had a four-shot lead at the beginning of the day and maintained it, winning by four over Harris English. Chris Gotterup finished in third one week after winning the Scottish Open.
