However, a few eagle-eyed fans out there spotted that the emotional open letter Eto'o has penned to thank the "warm, passionate and affectionate" Samp fans for their support bears an uncanny resemblance to the open letter the striker wrote to thank the "warm, passionate and affectionate" Everton fans for their support on his departure last January.
