After hanging on by a thread as the short stack for a long time in the WSOP main event, Damian Salas finally fell to Dan Ott in a tough break of a hand. Salas got his last few chips in with Ac-Th on an Ah-3h-2d flop, and Ott was behind with 4d-4s. The 6d turn was safe, but the 5s river gave Ott a straight and caused Salas to fall into a heap on the edge of the stage. He earns $1.425 million for seventh place.
