WNBA Finals betting: Will Aces finish off a sweep in Phoenix?

Sports Betting, WNBA, Las Vegas Aces, Phoenix Mercury

The Las Vegas Aces are just one win away from their third WNBA championship in four years. The Aces took a 3-0 series lead over the Phoenix Mercury thanks to A'ja Wilson's late heroics in Game 3 on Wednesday.

Here are our best bets for Friday's Game 4 in Phoenix, where the Aces are slight favorites.

WNBA Finals Game 4 best bets

Jackie Young to go OVER 19.5 total points (+140)

Young has averaged 23.0 PPG over her last six games, even including the 10 points she scored in Game 1 of this series in a dip game after her huge closeout effort against the Indiana Fever. Outside of that game, Young has scored 32, 32 and 21 points in her other three most recent games. She has her shot working and is able to play aggressive against defenses that are keyed on trying to slow down A'ja Wilson. To get this bet -- one that Young has eclipsed regularly -- at plus money is solid value. -- Snellings

Kahleah Copper to score 20+ total points (+105)

Copper has scored more than 20 points in four of her last seven games, including two of the three against the Aces. The Las Vegas defense has had trouble with quick guards all season and all playoffs long, and Copper has used her speed to take advantage, averaging 20.3 PPG on 50% shooting in this series. With leading scorer Satou Sabally sidelined in the concussion protocol, I expect Copper to get even more shots than usual in Game 4. -- Snellings

Alyssa Thomas to go OVER 17.5 points (+115)

The Mercury will need to lean not only on Copper, but also on Thomas as a scorer to fill the void left by Satou Sabally (concussion). Copper and Sabally combined for 29 field-goal attempts and 41 of Phoenix's 88 points in Game 3. While Thomas' scoring has dipped in this series, Nate Tibbetts will surely encourage his best player to take more shots in an elimination game. Thomas is averaging only 13 field-goal attempts per game in the series, leaving plenty of room for an uptick. -- Moody
