The Philadelphia Eagles are favored to win the NFC East, but as is well-documented, teams in this division have a hard time repeating. But the defending Super Bowl champions are -160 to do just that, with the Washington Commanders next in line at +225. No team has won the NFC East in back-to-back seasons since the Eagles won four straight from 2001-04, the longest streak without a repeat champ in a division in NFL history. The Dallas Cowboys, who hope to have a healthy Dak Prescott all season, are the third choice at +700, followed by the New York Giants, who sit well back at +3000. How will things play out this season? Here are the seasonlong odds for the NFC East teams and our favorite bets.

Best betsCommanders UNDER 9.5 wins (Even) Pamela Maldonado: Washington's 12 wins last season were the product of a perfect storm: soft schedule, elite health, historic fourth-down luck and nine wins in one-score games. That's a hard magic trick to pull off twice in row. This season's schedule is tougher, and close-game regression is coming. Jayden Daniels is special, but the run game is shaky at the moment and the defense ranked 25th in EPA last season. A 9.5 win total suggests everything goes right again, but the arrow points the other way. Even money on the under is a sharp bet on reality setting in. Cowboys UNDER 7.5 wins (+125) Liz Loza: I'm all in on a Dak Prescott rebound season for fantasy purposes, but that's largely because he'll be playing a lot of catchup. The Cowboys' defense is a mess. There are injury concerns in the secondary, and the Micah Parsons situation is giving peak 'Boys business. Furthermore, the squad draws the fifth-hardest strength of schedule with a murderer's row of matchups down the stretch. Even if Dallas were to stack dubs early, it's not unlikely that the wheels could come off the proverbial wagon by winter.

Eagles UNDER 11.5 wins (-140) Matt Bowen: The schedule to start the season is tough. After the Thursday night opener at home versus Dallas, the Eagles face the Chiefs in Kansas City, host the Los Angeles Rams, visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then return to Philly to face the Denver Broncos. That's four straight against playoff teams from last season. Plus, the Eagles play the NFC North this year, with road games at Minnesota and Green Bay. The Eagles still have the league's best roster, and I do see them making a playoff run again this season. But the schedule keeps them at the 10/11 win mark in 2025. NFC East odds2024: PHI (14-3, 11-6 ATS), WAS (12-5, 11-6), DAL (7-10, 7-10), NYG (3-14, 5-12)
Did you know?Courtesy ESPN Research The Eagles' 2025 win total is set at 11.5, tied for the highest of any team along with the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. At +650, they are co-favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champs (Baltimore is also +650). The Commanders entered 2024 with just a 20% chance to reach the playoffs, according to ESPN Analytics. The Cowboys have not made an NFC Championship Game appearance since winning Super Bowl XXX. The 29-season drought is the longest in franchise history and the longest active drought of any NFC team. Dallas is 25-1 to win the NFC conference title. The Giants have finished last in the division in four of the past eight seasons and enter 2025 as a +155 favorite to finish last in the entire conference.
