After defeating the New York Liberty last Sunday, the Minnesota Lynx have risen to be the new WNBA Finals betting favorites at ESPN BET jumping to +155. The Lynx, led by MVP favorite Napheesa Collier (-425), easily handled the Liberty in the last matchup on August 10, and sportsbooks have taken notice. The Liberty have the second-shortest odds at +170, followed by the Phoenix Mercury (+750), Indiana Fever (+1100), Atlanta Dream (+1200) and Las Vegas Aces (+3000). The MVP race appears to be down to just Collier and the Mercury's Alyssa Thomas (+375) with A'ja Wilson (+!800) and Sabrina Ionescu (+7500) behind Thomas.
