Broncos coach Sean Payton liked what he saw from running back R.J. Harvey at the team's rookie minicamp practice Saturday. Harvey got plenty of work in the passing game during the two-hour practice, something the Broncos' decision-makers said after the draft he would be able to do well in the NFL. "Look, the question is going to be is he a three-down back?,'' Payton said. "Well, he's going to play on third down ... there's a lot we can do to suit his strengths.''

After Saturday's rookie minicamp practice, Broncos coach Sean Payton gave his most definitive description of linebacker Dre Greenlaw's recovery from a thigh injury Greenlaw suffered in training earlier this offseason. Payton said, contrary to some early reports at the time of the injury, Greenlaw "is on schedule ... he's doing well and will be a full participant in training camp and all of that is doing great.'' Greenlaw signed a three-year, $31.5 million contract with Broncos in free agency.
