Georgia State WR Ted Hurst intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he told ESPN. The 6-5 wide receiver earned second-team All-Sun Belt last year and caught a school-record 9 touchdowns. He finished with 56 catches for 961 yards. He'll be one of the top offensive players available in the portal.
UCLA quarterback Joey Aguilar tells ESPN that he intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal later today. He has one year of eligibility remaining. He threw for 6,760 yards and 56 touchdowns in two years as a starter at Appalachian State.

Sources: Clemson is set to hire longtime college head coach Mike Houston to work with the defensive staff there. Houston won an FCS national title as the coach at James Madison and spent six seasons as the head coach at East Carolina. Houston is a North Carolina native with deep ties in the Carolinas, as he's been the head coach at The Citadel and Lenoir-Rhyne. He'll assist new defensive coordinator Tom Allen, who just arrived from Penn State.

Sources: Georgia Southern has agreed to a new five-year deal for coach Clay Helton that extends him through the 2029 football season. The deal includes a raise to an average of $1 million per year over the five years and an additional year on the deal. He's 20-19 over three years and has reached bowl games in all three years. The deal includes incentives that could raise it above a million. He made more than $800,000 per year in 2024.
Coastal Carolina is hiring former star quarterback Grayson McCall as an offensive analyst, sources tell Pete Thamel. He played there from 2019-2023 and leads the school in nearly every major offensive category. He was Sun Belt Player of the Year three times while at Coastal Carolina.
